Hello! I'm Colleen. I am currently a graduate student at Harvard University (HGSE). I began working as a tutor nine years ago as at UC Davis. I taught Spanish, English, and History to English Language Learners and DI Student Athletes. After tutoring for three years in college, I earned my Single Subject Teaching Credential in Spanish. I then worked as an After-School Instructor, teaching English and Spanish in a first grade bilingual classroom. For the past six years, I have been a classroom teacher. I worked as a Spanish teacher for grades K-5 at an elementary school for three years. For the past three years, I have taught ESL and Spanish at an all-boys, Catholic high school. I have also been the International Program Director at my high school for the past two years. In addition, I have also developed curriculum, worked as a master teacher for new teachers, lead and managed a staff, and planned and implemented professional development workshops abroad. I am happy to work with any and all kids. I have experience working with various types of learners (gifted, ADD, ADHD, Asperger's, Autism Spectrum, Visual and Auditory Processing Disorders).
