#### Education

First-year Physics PhD Student at Harvard University.Graduated from University of Pennsylvania in 2010 with a BA in Physics and Mathematics and a MA in Mathematics.

#### Experience

One of the main parts I like about teaching changing how people are thinking through problems. I also get a lot out of seeing students develop confidence in working with me, which is a key to future success beyond the particular subject we are working on.I was a TA for Calculus I at UPenn for one semester. Tutored several students for one semester at various levels of Calculus (as well as one in Physics).

Graduated Summa Cum Laude, Phi Beta Kappa, with Honors in Mathematics and Physics and I won the Physics Department Award. Was also awarded an MA in Mathematics (4 years BA+MA).

Tests (mostly old):

SAT Math - 800 (2005)

SATII Math IIC - 790 (2005)

SATII Physics - 780

GRE Quant - 800 (2009)

GRE Physics - 880, 84th Percentile (2009)

AP Calculus AB/BC: 5/5 (2005)

AP Chemistry: 5 (2006)

#### Hobbies

Academically, I am interested in using ideas from Physics and Quantitative methods to approach Biological questions, though I am also not afraid of getting my hands dirty with some experiments of my own. Biology is completely new to me so the last year has been a whirlwind learning experience. In my spare time I enjoy running and political activism.
