Private tutor in Cambridge, MA
Boston University - Bachelors, International Relations
I was raised in Beirut, Lebanon, where I attended private school for the French, earning my le baccalaureate francais. I graduated from Boston University with my bachelor's in international relations. I spent time in Washington, D.C., at a foreign policy think tank, serving as a research assistant on the Middle East's politics, military, and economics. I am fluent in Turkish, French, Farsi, and Azerbaijani, as well as Armenian and Arabic. I dedicate myself to teaching and tutoring languages, as well as world and European histories. I am confident with students of all ages and skill levels. I can explain concepts in a variety of ways with demonstrations that are best suited to the student's learning style. Students preparing for their GRE or SAT subject tests can learn valuable strategies that can improve their scores. I work one-on-one with students with the belief that hard work, patience, and dedication are the key to optimal learning. I refuse to give up on any of my students. They can and will succeed through their efforts. I love to be outdoors in my free time, whether I'm biking, running, or hiking. I explore the museums around Boston whenever I can. I also enjoy learning about languages.
