Hobbies
I enjoy being around children and that is the reason I have been a teacher for most part of my life. My instinct for empathy combined with a nurturing personality helped me realize my potential early in life. During my second year of College, I got an opportunity to tutor my niece who was a primary grade child suffering from processing difficulties due to a brain surgery. This was my very first experience and my compassion encouraged me to research on her condition leading me to devise a multisensory learning technique. Besides an immense sense of satisfaction and happiness, this experience reinforced my decision to pursue a career in Teaching. I am currently pursuing my Masters in Special Education from Lesley University that would allow me to continue teaching in the United States.
