Private tutor in Cambridge, MA
Johns Hopkins University - BA, Behavioral Biology
From a minor in the classics to modern dance with the Johns Hopkins University Modern Dance Company, the scope of my adventures makes me an exciting and multifaceted tutor. I majored in behavioral biology, earning a B.A. in a field that helps me work with all types of learners. I also served as a resident advisor. The range of students I've tutored proves just as varied as my pursuits. Elementary and middle school math and science students provided me with learning experiences of my own, as did people who needed help with anatomy, biology, chemistry, genetics, physiology, and psychology. Each and every one of them showed me what it takes to reach students on a meaningful and lasting level. My favorite subjects to work with are psychology and science on an elementary level, as they keep me in touch with the basics. As much as I love working and learning, I take full advantage of my free time by biking and going to the gym. However, I know when it's time to slow down and just hang, and when I do that, it usually involves reading the paper or watching television. I also love to experiment in the kitchen with cooking and baking.
