Experience
I have been tutoring others since the beginning of high school, ranging from struggling peers to competitive math teams (who went on to enjoy great success in the state of California). Over the past couple of years in particular, I have been doing one-on-one tutoring in-person and online, for math, physics, and computer programming grades 7-12 and at the university level. I have also been mentoring a high school FIRST robotics team. I have a deep passion for math and science, and have always enjoyed sharing it with others. My approach to teaching focuses not only on concepts, but also on developing strong thinking patterns through the process of guided discovery. I aim to provide my students with the tools to supplement their own learning. After all, the ability to think and learn is its own reward, and greatly influences our quality of life.
