I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Tufts University in 2011 as a Biomedical Engineering/Biology double major and completed my Master's Degree at Tufts in Biomedical Engineering. I am in the middle of my MD/PhD training at Harvard Medical School this Fall. My PhD is in Bioengineering and Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
I scored in the 99th percentile on the MCAT exam and graduated from Tufts undergraduate with a 3.9 cumulative GPA and from Tufts graduate with a 4.0 cumulative GPA. I have taken a wide variety biology, chemistry, physics and engineering courses. I have private one-on-one and classroom teaching experience for Kaplan Test Prep and Next Step Test Prep. I have also done many private tutoring sessions for the MCAT and SAT, as well as chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, and biology for both high school and college levels. I have successfully raised all of my students' MCAT scores. I have also helped many students put together the best medical school application possible, and I have given students many tips for medical school interview prep for both MD and MD/PhD interviews. I love tutoring and helping students achieve their academic and test prep goals. I am a strong proponent of individualized learning, and I aim to help students tackle their weaknesses in a way that allows them understand rather than just memorize the material.
