Masters of Science student in Biomedical Sciences at Tufts Medical School, and undergraduate BA in Biology with Honors. Currently completing medical school applications and researching Epilepsy in the Medical School's Biochemistry Department.
Experience
-Experience teaching MIT undergraduates Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience, for which I received the departmental teaching award. -Experience tutoring spanish high school students with English as a second language in all subjects. -Experience tutoring children with ADD, ADHD and to a lesser degree some social disorders. -Experience as a volunteer educator at The New England Aquarium and the Massachusetts Audubon society. My passion is learning and memory research wise, so I have always been interested in new educational theories. I will use a copy of the course textbook develop a lesson plan (in Spanish or English depending on need) and develop practice problems when applicable. I have observed many students caught in a cycle of poor performance. I will sharing my passion for the material and organize study to build confidence and restore performance. If I am not suited for the particular case I will not accept pay.
