Hobbies

Piano, Mountain Biking, Skiing, Rock Climbing, Music, Philosophy. I'm a hardworking Harvard student who wants to make make money on the side tutoring anyone who wants to learn! Many people describe me as a cerebral, analytical person--I am good at picking apart problems and ideas, a skill crucial for tutoring. This probably comes from my experience debating in high school, which also honed my public speaking skills. I am a witty person; I enjoy drawing on books, articles, etc. that I've encountered to give an interesting perspective on issues. Overall I am very intellectually curious. People learn in order to gain greater mastery over the mind and thus the world around them, as the mind facilitates the self's rational understanding of the world. Learning enriches our reality in a very fundamental way; when an educated mind views the world it sees so much more than surface appearances. This depth of perspective is becoming increasingly necessary in the 21st century.
