Education

I've graduated from MIT twice--once with two Master's degrees in mechanical engineering and technology & policy, and the other with Bachelor's degrees in both aerospace engineering and mechanical engineering. I also earned minors in Germany and International Studies. I am interning in Auburn Hills, MI over the summer before returning to Boston to complete more degrees at both MIT and Harvard. I have over 2,000 hours of tutoring experience, and began professionally in 2011.

Experience

MIT grad with two Master of Science degrees in engineering and Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering as well as minors in Applied International Studies and German. I really enjoy teaching, and would be glad to speak with you about anything you'd like to learn, review, or otherwise reinforce. I have tutored several students and adults of ages ranging from 10-55 in a variety of areas including math, science, engineering, and English. I am able to tutor at all levels, including elementary school, high school, college, and post-graduate students. I consider myself a real people person who thrives when interacting with and teaching others. I come from a military family and have five brothers, so I am used to frequently meeting and working with new people. I have extensive experience training and preparing my students for standardized tests such as the SAT, ACT, and GRE. I thoroughly enjoy teaching and tutoring, and hope to continue broadening the academic horizons of students here in the Pacific Northwest. I was valedictorian of my high school, and have scored perfect scores in mathematics and science (e.g. 800 SAT and 36 ACT) on most standardized tests that I have taken including the SAT, ACT, GRE, and ASVAB. I have a wealth of knowledge and personal experience with tutoring students for school and standardized test preparation, which I hope to effectively share with many others!

Hobbies

I enjoy playing soccer, running, hiking, climbing, meeting people, and learning new things. I have traveled to over twenty countries, and feel that there is so much to learn from exploring cultures and landscapes around the world. Teaching has been my passion for quite a while, and it is something that I know I'll continue to do for as long as I can.
