BS (with honors) in mathematics from Caltech Ph.D. in Logic and Methodology of Science from University of California, Berkeley. Note that in this program I studied mathematical logic.

Experience

I spent 5 years as a graduate student at UC Berkeley working as a teaching assistant for mathematics classes and 3 years as a postdoc at the University of Notre Dame teaching mathematics classes. Most of this experience was in teaching/TAing calculus. I've moved out to the Cambridge area to be with my wife and have always found one-on-one interaction with students to be the best part of teaching so I thought I would put my skills to work tutoring.
