Hi! I am Ty, and I am currently a sophomore at Babson College in Wellesley, Massachusetts. Babson is a small business school, and therefore everyone is majoring in business. More specifically to me, I am interested in Entrepreneurship and Finance. Through my first year I was able to make the Dean’s List and earn a cumulative GPA of 3.45.
Experience
I have experience tutoring middle school aged children. I have also, for the past three years, been a Junior Golf Instructor at a local golf course in my hometown of Rochester, New York for children ages 5-16 and have learned how to effectively communicate with and relate to children of all ages. I enjoy tutoring because I love to work with students and see their satisfaction when they begin to notice the results that they have worked hard for. Throughout high school, I took all Honors and Advanced Placement classes, and earned 23 college credits from Advanced Placement exams in which I scored a 4 or 5. I scored a 4 or 5 on AP Microeconomics, AP Macroeconomics, AP Calculus AB, AP Environmental Science, AP United States History and AP Psychology. I also received a 35 on the ACT Math Section, in which the highest score is a perfect 36.

Hobbies
Although I place great emphasis on my school work and academic performance, I am also a lover of all things outdoors! I enjoy playing virtually all sports from basketball to golf, football, baseball and many more. In addition to this, I have an eight year old yellow lab named Daisy at home and I like to play with her, go on walks, and take her to the park to swim and chase a stick. I look forward to helping you accomplish your academic goals and to getting to know you as well!
