I'm currently a Massachusetts Institute of Technology student who is enthusiastic about helping students of all abilities with economics and math. While a college student, I dedicated some time to a pair of volunteer tutoring programs. Through these opportunities, I've learned that students live up to their fullest potential when they're confident. I've learned that students achieve results when they're comfortable in a learning environment that promotes fun, fosters the freedom to ask questions, and offers comfort to students if they don't know the answer. It's my goal to instill confidence in my students when they're familiarizing themselves with new material.I'm adept at teaching algebra, calculus, geometry, elementary math, pre-calculus, statistics, trigonometry, economics, math, business, and social sciences. I'm also well-versed in preparing students for standardized tests such as the SAT and the ACT. In my spare time, I enjoy playing soccer, traveling, and watching re-runs of The Office.
