Hobbies
I am a biological engineering student at MIT. In my free time, I love to travel and explore the city. I spent this past January and January 2014 in Italy, learning basic Italian and teaching Italian high school kids Chemistry, Biology, Thermodynamics, and debate. While I was in Europe, I also traveled to Ireland, France, and Switzerland. Last summer, I traveled to Togo in West Africa to work on a mobile app project at an HIV health clinic. I took French for 6 years while in middle and high school, and I had opportunities to practice my French while in France and Togo. I'm taking a semester off from school to work at the nonprofit that manages this HIV clinic, Hope Through Health. I really care about people and healthcare, and am planning on applying to medical school next summer.
