I received my Bachelor of Science with Honors in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University (GPA 4.077/4.0), writing my honors thesis on novel methods of patterning for organic electronics. Currently, I'm a PhD student in Chemical Engineering at MIT (GPA 5.0/5.0) studying protein engineering and low-cost diagnostics.

Experience

I've tutored students ranging from 1st grade through 9th grade, and particularly enjoy working with high school age students. I feel I benefited a lot from the mentorship of older students during my early years, and I'm looking to pay that forward to other driven students. I've also been awarded a fellowship by the National Institute of Health as well as President's Awards for Academic Excellence both at Stanford and MIT, and have successfully navigated admissions processes at both schools. I enjoy comedy writing by the likes of Douglas Adams and Joseph Heller, I'm a Game of Thrones addict, and my musical jam is bluegrass/folk.
