Experience
I spent most of my educational years tutoring my peers in my spare time. I find tutoring to be a fun and rewarding activity. Each student is different and requires a unique lesson plan aimed to address their weaknesses by using their own strengths. I have experience tutoring one on one and small groups. I have experience tutoring Biology, Calculus and Physics, although feel comfortable with a wide variety of science and math subjects. Courses I've taken include: Biology, Cell Biology, Microbiology, Advanced Microbiology,Chemistry, Pathophysiology I and II, Anatomy and Physiology, Calculus I and II, Physics I and II, Biochemistry, Genetics, Immunology, Organic Chemistry, Statistics, Philosophy, and Psychology. I am currently applying to Medical School and have 2 years of experience working as an EMT and 1 year working in an ophthalmology practice. My healthcare experience has taught me how to work with people of diverse backgrounds, and to work in an effective and professional manner.

I am a fun-loving and caring person. My caring and passionate attitude helps others feel comfortable in my presence. Aside from my obvious interest in healthcare and the sciences, I engage in a wide-variety of activities in my free time ranging from sports to photography. I an avid cyclist and love giving back to my community, I just completed 125 mile HIV/AIDS charity ride.
