My experience in tutoring goes far beyond that which is listed on paper. Ever since my younger brother entered middle school in 2009, I have consistently helped him in his struggles at school. I began giving regular lessons in certain subjects to him and some of his peers. It did not take long for me to realize that I enjoy tutoring. As a result, I enlisted into a tutoring program at my high school, helping underclassman and some of my peers in mathematics and science . I also became a teacher's assistant in an AP Physics BC class at my high school.
This, not only provided me with experience in tutoring, but also gave me further experience in connecting with my peers and those younger than me. My ability to work with younger kids was further reinforced after I started coaching an under eleven town soccer team.
As the college application process neared for me, I began to receive tutoring from several Princeton-Review tutors, who have aquatinted me with various test taking strategies on the SAT test. This proved to be of paramount importance to my test taking ability. It also reinforced my basic writing mechanics, as I managed to publish several articles later that year.
The various high school and college classes that I have completed, provided me with an excellent knowledge of Newtonian Mechanics, Calculus and all the prerequisites to those subjects.
I now share my knowledge through tutoring with students who need help on certain subjects or general test taking strategy and SATs.
