I have a PhD from Boston University in Political Science.
Experience
I have taught at college level for over 15 years. I have also tutored (groups and private lessons) subjects such as language, world history, European and world history, government and comparative politics and international relations. In the past 10 years I have worked with college and pre-college students helping them with their courses in the above subjects as well in researching and writing papers and essays. In my teaching I always bring in real life examples based on my own experiences and engage my students in debates and discussions to better understand issues. Teaching and tutoring is my passion and I enjoy it tremendously. Helping students understand concepts or able to conduct research and write papers gives me tremendous satisfaction.

Thursday after 3PM, Friday at any time, Monday after 3PM, Tuesday after 2PM, Wednesday after 7PM, Saturday at any time, Sunday in the morning

Hobbies
I'm a travel junkie. so far I've been to 59 countries and lived (for at least 3 months) in a dozen cities. My first major trip was at the age of 9 to, what was then, Soviet Union and since then I've had the travel bug! While traveling I get to know the history, culture, society and politics of the places I visit and interact with the local population to learn more about them. While I don't consider myself to be a polyglot I am fluent in three languages (English, Arabic, Armenian) and have basic understanding of 4 other languages (French, Persian, Turkish and Russian).
