EducationJunior Linguistics and Psychology concentrator at Harvard University; 34 ACT, 2370 SAT
ExperienceI've been tutoring English for several years now, have had 6 years of ESL experience, and two years of SAT tutoring. I am currently an ESL tutor at the Boston Medical Center Center for Refugee Health and Human Rights, and am also the co-director for younger ESL students at the Boston Refugee Youth Enrichment Program. Additionally, I tutor for Harvard Student Agencies. Teaching and tutoring is what I'm passionate about, and making difficult material accessible and comprehensible is what I'm all about. I plan on working in the field of education after graduating from Harvard, and will officially be a part of the Harvard Graduate School of Education's Undergraduate Teacher Education Program (UTEP).
HobbiesI love comedy, dogs, cooking, and being a normal, down-to-earth human being. I think it's important to be relatable to someone you're tutoring. Without that, there's little incentive to want to learn.
*Note, I will not be available until the last week in May, at which point I will be finished with finals at Harvard and returning to Omaha until the end of August.

Jackson was incredibly easy to work with. He was very patient as I recalled some of my earlier Spanish knowledge, and was able to change paces of teaching very quickly. He's very friendly, and I would highly recommend him to anyone in the Omaha area looking to learn Spanish.
