My services include academic tutoring and coaching. I will cater to the individual student's needs, goals, and personality.
I specialize in test-taking, including SAT I, SAT II, and AP. I am willing to commit up to several hours a week per student and will work with the student to both prepare for the test material and create a timetable so that the student can maximize preparation and performance.
I first became involved in tutoring in high school, helping my peers who were struggling with their academics. I found this role to be not only intellectually stimulating, but also personally fulfilling. Over the past year, I was introduced to the role of coaching, a role that goes beyond academic tutoring by focusing on all aspects of life, from goal-setting to habit management to social interaction. I have invested a lot of my time and energy into learning as much as possible about how to coach my own life, and I feel that I can offer the insight I have accumulated to others. Academics is but one component of a productive, healthy, and happy life, and I strongly believe that guiding tutees to such a life should be the utmost objective of any tutor.
